The multiple-choice questions cover the basics about me, as for the man, the myth, the legend, that is someone else’s profile, I’m just work in progress me. I like to believe that I am not an overly complicated person, have mostly had that affirmed by others over the course of my life, but everything is relative which is one of the fun parts of getting to know someone romantically. Figuring out where things are aligned, where they deviate and enjoying bridging the differences while getting to know each other. As to why I am advertising my single and available status on AFF, the long answer makes for a good getting to know each other topic of conversation but suffice to say I’m not here to run game. I am just interested in meeting a woman who is mutually open to dedicating some of their extremely valuable time to getting to know each other. I titled my profile Compatible Quirks because we all have them and I believe a lot of getting involved with someone is figuring out each other’s quirks and whether they complement each other. I’ve never developed a taste for alcohol or getting high, and as a result am just not compatible with women for whom one or both is a requirement to having a good time especially with those who say it is not, but really it is. As a of a Christian household who mostly shed the baggage of that upbringing in his late 20’s my views are generally middle of the road and typically enjoy spending time with someone who is of a similar mindset even if there isn’t alignment on the specifics. Of course, the great unknown is chemistry that no profile is going to be able to fully account for. At this point I think we have all been there at one point or another where on paper 1 + 1 = 2 but the reality is more 1 + 1 is adding up to 3 and the math just doesn’t work. Lastly, I’ve been down the long-distance road a few times with mixed results, I’m not going to say never to some distance because life can be funny that way, but my preference is local as it would be great to take advantage of being able to get together as schedules and interests permits.
