I hate staples! And yours sound like a major pain in the....well, you know where they were a pain. Good to hear they're gone. Might be time for lots of aloe vera on the irritated skin to help heal some of the damage. Very glad to hear the psychological effects are getting better.

I'm happy to hear things are getting a little better for you. You can get adhesive remover in the pharmacy isle for the sticky that gets left behind... I've used it before and it works fairly decent, you'll feel much better once that's gone.

Yayyyy....you are on your way to mending !! Kudos...so happy to hear. Cocoa butter, Shea butter and Aloe for the skin. Thanks for the update ~~

Being glued and stapled sounds like something you would see in a twisted horror movie. I’m glad things are improving for you. Funny women are incredibly sexy!

Having had a few surgeries myself over the years... yeah, that adhesive glue is a bitch to get off of skin. It will come off with gentle scrubbing, though emphasis on gentle, and keep in mind that not all of it will be compliant. I found that tea tree oil works incredibly well on helping to close any small opened areas, plus it's a natural antiseptic/antifungal. Another benefit is it helps to lessen the appearance of scar tissue when healing, think "less ugly". You can find it at most holistic stores (i.e. Lassen's), and though it can be a bit costly, it's well worth the investment. I bought a small bottle back in early 2000, and still have it; a little use goes a long way. "Be who you are and say what you feel. Those who matter won't mind, and those who mind won't matter." ~ Dr. Seuss.

keep the medical tape. being asian i didn't qualify for plastic surgery revision to my scars. but the plastic surgeon suggested to tape down the healed scars with paper medical tape. it really helped keep the injury in shape and decrease the size of the scars. you can barely tell now unless i bring it up! chia seeds make me constipated. i know everyone talks about this stuff like brilliance. i went ahead and brought my first container from SAMS. needless to say... i didn't finish it. good to hear you got your appointment. i do think therapy might help? XO!
