 First of all... welcome back sweetheart. I hope this is just the beginning of more posts.

... but I still want to be with someone that makes me laugh and feel smart and beautiful and sexy. I want them to accept all of me, including the less than positive things and in return I offer the same. I want them to comfort and support me whether that means supporting a big decision I need to make or making me dinner and listening when I have a bad day.

It's been a while since I've posted or responded to one, but to echo Gardenboy:

Don't we all want?

Someone smart once said:

“A friend is someone who knows all about you and loves you just the same”.

This is why I think most use the term FWB incorrectly. If the relationship is truly based on friendship, your not so pretty side won't scare them off. They will definitely invite you to theirs and attend your family holiday gatherings, weddings, work events, recognize and celebrate each other's birthday parties. I've been there, done that! A mutual friend put us together, because she new we both enjoyed the benefits, and we became close friends. Although the benefits have long ceased, the friendship endures! The benefits were fantastic, but the friendship was the thing. Friends makes you laugh, feel smart, sexy and desirable. They also take you down a peg, when you get too high and mighty, but I digress.

It's a great insightful post March... you hit a lot of nail squarely!
