 Hi Lady...Steve in Mishawaka ! I too was saddened by the loss of eddie!....I'm getting over a brush with covid-19.....symptoms last Tuesday of fatigue and Temps ranging from 99.0-100.2 through Wednesday morning.Had test Wed. Results on Friday afternoon of positive! By then all my Temps were 98.8 or less and have stayed that way! I work part time as a delivery driver for Ottawa Dental Lab on South Bends South side. Ottawa Dental is out of Ottawa,Il. If I don't have any elevated Temps of other symptoms, I'll start back to work next Monday!...I'm feeling good !

Well, damn! Sorry you tested positive, but glad you're going to be back at it soon. I know a few people with pneumonia right now... I'm ready for this all to be over with.

I read a story about him and his family moving to L.A. from the Netherlands as an interracial family, and the kids they went to school with were very nasty to them. Sad.

 R. I. P. Eddie. So sad. I never even knew he had throat cancer until he died?
When Ronnie James Dio died after his battle with throat cancer, he set up all kinds of concerts and signings and appearances to help with research in funding/curing throat cancer.
Eddie was the most copied speed metal guitarist ever...in my opinion. He was a master at his craft and seemed to do anything and everything with a guitar with such ease and grace. Long Live Van Halen! Rock on, Darlin!

I did not know that about Dio. Another ROCKSTAR in my mind. Speaking of...have you ever listened to the family band called Liliac? The young lead singer sounds a lot like Dio. Look them up.
Ohhhh, Eddie had a sound like no other.

 Sounds like you have some wonderful memories, I didn't really listen to rock music much growing up. But I do know he was married to one of my favorite ladies Valerie Bertinelli and they had a son together. It is truly a sad loss for the music world. May Eddie RIP.. hun

 Nice Tribute ! I liked EVH also! Thought it was cool when he married Valeri! I thought they made a cute couple! Eddie was just a year older than me! What a tremendous band they have in Heaven! Oh My!
